As a non-denominational minister/officiant I understand that interfaith ceremonies can be very sensitive events. I respect that two people with different religious faiths desire to be joined in marriage and I also understand that there are two different sets of family with differing beliefs to be considered. 

For varying reasons, there are wedding minister/officiants in Michigan who do not view this as I do. I believe that your wedding day is uniquely yours and I am here as a wedding minister/officiant to help make it your own special day. My personal beliefs should support yours. Some couples have been "rejected" by ministers who decline to marry them because of their different faiths and because of their Church policy not allowing interfaith unions. Please call me if you need an interfaith marriage ceremony. When you love someone that you cannot live without, your different faiths just should not be an obstacle. I will not require you to attend pre-marriage counseling because I trust that your love for each other is the force that binds you together, not the religion that you were born into.

Religious and Spiritual Wedding Ceremonies:       Fee: $100—$200 *

As a non-denominational minister/officiant, I am authorized to officiate at any wedding ceremony that you prefer. Sometimes your church minister cannot be there to serve. That is when I will be there to serve you. And sometimes couples simply want wedding vows that reflect their spiritual feelings or religious beliefs, but do not want to be married in a church. I am here to perform your ceremony as you desire it to be done.

Non-Religious Wedding Ceremonies:                       Fee: $100—$200 *

I get many requests for non-religious weddings and vows. I understand and respect your wishes and I can and will honor them. I promise to officiate at your wedding ceremony the way you want it, without religious references. It is your wedding day and the ceremony should reflect the beliefs and lifestyle of you and your loving partner. A brief non-religious ceremony is available as a civil ceremony also.

Civil Wedding Ceremonies - Elopements - Renewal of Vows:   Fee: $50—$100 *

What is a civil wedding ceremony? It is usually a relatively short, inexpensive ceremony that has no religious references, no prayers, no mention of any god in the wedding vows, and no dogma. If this ceremony is to your preference, I will be happy to be your officiant.

At times I am asked to officiate at a civil wedding ceremony for couples who are planning to have a more formal ceremony later on in front of family and friends but, more immediately need the formality and legality of a short civil wedding.

Renewing your vows before family and friends is a perfect way to celebrate your anniversary, whether you have been happily married for 5 years or 50 years. Reaffirm your never ending love and devotion to each other and re-kindle your spirits for the next 50 years with a beautiful ceremony and celebration. The renewal of vows is one of my favorite services to provide.

If you see your life style as “non-conformist” or “marching to your own drummer” and you wish to blend your own style into your unique wedding day and ceremony, then I am the open-minded, open-hearted minister/officiant that you are looking for. Performing non-traditional ceremonies requiring even more imagination and creativity is both stimulating and fun. Call me with your ideas and ceremony needs.

Commitment Ceremonies:                              Fee: $100 — $200 *

A commitment ceremony of your choice can also be performed to match the grand style of any wedding. Two people in love are two people in love, whoever they may be. The laws of the State of Michigan must be observed in a commitment ceremony but, beyond that, it is your day and you have the right to vow your commitment to your loving partner in a memorable ceremony just the way you dreamed it could be.

Funeral Services  -  Celebrations of Life:                 Fee: $50 — $100 *

Now comes the one life event from which none of us can escape. I promise to create a memorable service that reflects the true heart, soul, being and beliefs of your deceased loved ones and their surviving, loving family. This is not my job. This is my personal calling and privilege to serve you faithfully in your time of loss.
